Not A Fight, But An Embrace
Fundação Centro Cultural de Belém, Lisbon (PT)
2017
Within this live performance, Diane Giraud elaborates on the capture of moments and her reflections on intimacy whilst nodding at the "Anthropométries" of Yves Klein. Inspired by the thought that "time does not exist only memory does", she is investigating further the process of reminiscence within our physical bodies with the collaboration of dancer and choreographer Filipa Peraltinha, who is involved as the artist's “living brush” and model / "living canvas" Diogo Guerreiro, together extending the exploration of memory, touch, and corporeal expression.
